welcome:

Dear friends,
I've brought this blog together for the free exchange of idea's about food that will hopefully be a country wide discussion and recipe exchange that can lift all our cooking skill's to a higher level. As for me I will be here every day to advise, and help answer those tough questions and share my skills with all of you. Those of you that remember the shak will all be glad to know that once a month I will be posting a new recipe from the shak so that you can have all the great food that you guy's miss, also when it is up and running I will be able to supply you with all your favorite spice blends, dry rubs, hot sauce's and soon a shak cookbook with all your favorite recipes.Hopefully as this blog and web site progress I will also link you to other sites that I think stand up to the quality and standards of the shak.So lets talk, share and learn.

  2. Well here it goes sorry I'm late so this is the recipe for LEMON DILL CREAM CHEESE that was used in the smoked salmon & asparagus wrap
    1#room temperature cream cheese
    juice from 2 lemons strained
1/8 cup chopped fresh dill with no stems
    1/4tsp. granulated garlic
    salt & pepper to taste
mix well in food processor with soft blade
this goes very well with any strong flavored meat or seafood as a finisheror accent so have fun and experiment
